An autistic person
Is one who is beautifully unique
In their own way

An autistic person may avoid eye contact
But that doesn't mean
They are not listening

An autistic person may lash out
But they are not angry

An autistic person's eyes
May dart and not look at you
But they are not ignoring you

And autistic person may prefer
To be alone
But that doesn't mean
They don't want friends

An autistic person's
Narrow mindedness
Doesn't mean they
Are ignorant

An autistic person l
Likes a routine
But can adapt to
Change with help

An autistic person
May be angry
But that doesn't
Mean they have
Anger issues

An autistic person
Embraces their uniqueness
With a strong belief
Of kindness
